Vincent Medical Holdings Limited (“Vincent Medical” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”, stock code: 1612), a global respiratory medical device and disposables supplier, announces that in an evaluation performed by Dr. François Lellouche, which was presented today in a poster presentation at LIVES 2022, the 35th Annual Congress of The European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, , Dr. François Lellouche noted that based on the preliminary data from a bench testing in specialized laboratory, the humidification performances of the Group’s inspiredTM VHB20 appears to outperform other comparable heated humidifiers used in the evaluation.
According to the poster presentation for the Evaluation of the Performances of New Generation of Heated wire Humidifiers, it highlights “VHB20 demonstrated stable performances while varying ambient temperature from 20 to 30oC. The mean humidity delivered remained stable above 30 mgH2O/L of delivered absolute humidity even with ambient temperatures above 25 oC.”

“Hygrometic performance of heated humidifier is key, as inadequate humidification can lead to bronchial inflammation, cell damage, mucociliary clearance impairment, and endotracheal tube occlusions for patients on mechanical ventilation,” says Mr. Vincent Choi, Chairman of Vincent Medical. “We are very pleased with this well-organised evaluation, and the results are in alignment with our other trials and references we have from our partnered global healthcare technology companies.” Mr. Choi concluded.
